Micah 6:8 Volunteer Choir

Micah 6:8 was formed in August 2014 during the traditional vacation of the Music Ministry at Vermont Avenue Baptist Church (VABC). During this time, church members and friends volunteered to provide musical selections for Sunday services. Inspired by a shared passion for worship, the Fox-Holtz-Wheeler family came together to form Micah 6:8. The founding members included Angela Fox Wheeler (Director), Christopher Wheeler, Cynthia Wheeler, and Natalie Fox Holtz, with Solomon Sparrow, VABC’s Minister of Music, accompanying on piano.  

From 2014 to 2019, Micah 6:8 faithfully served VABC by leading worship music one service every August. However, with the onset of the pandemic in 2020 and the subsequent shift to virtual services, the choir expanded its reach by providing musical selections for the "According to His Word" Worship Hour, the spiritual outreach initiative of Anna's Place Mission.  

Looking ahead to 2025, Micah 6:8 will transition to serving as the official choir for Micah 6:8 Ministries, continuing their mission of uplifting and inspiring worship through music.
